Running Man: diversion or delivery man  (Read 343 times)

There was a thread debating the existance of the running man at the corner of Elm and Houston across from the TSBD just before the motorcade makes its turn. The enhanced Bell film shows that he was real.  His timing is very interesting.  Does he distract the Secret Service and take their eyes off of windows or fences?  He seems to be dressed like a modern day UPS deliveryman but no hat and he is running with purpose.

Could be the guy on the left in the cropped Skaggs photo. Impossible to say.
He's only suspicious to me because of his proximity to 'Huston Man' in the dark suit who is HUGELY hinky.
(You see HM in Hughes, Bell, Nix etc. w/ his left hand up to mouth as the limo turns off Main, clapping as it passes, then hand back to mouth. Identical dress to guy who could be Powell w/ camera down by the laundry truck. I'll post something on HM later .... just getting into the eggnog right now).

Hard to say what this guy was up to or what his job was. Looks like an ordinary blue shirt. Someone in a hurry to catch a glimpse of the president is what sounds the most reasonable at first sight. He has no object in his hands, or at least I don't see any.
The other films, especially Hughes should shed some light on what the SS was looking at.

And it looks as if he has his right hand near his chest while he is running... but I am not sure. And I see something black around near the collar, maybe a tie or a black T-shirt under the blue shirt.
I will see if I can slow it down and enlarge it a bit more, maybe that helps.
