I have always been fascinated by the "man in the doorway" question and after watching the NG Lost Bullet Special did some screen shots of the Towner film. It may not be very clearly LHO in the doorway..but one thing for sure is it's not Lovelady... Lovelady is wearing a bright red lumberjack shirt and it should be in these screen shots.....though there is somebody in that corner it is NOT Lovelady....   Here is Lovelady's shirt 10 mins later....
