In looking again at Hughes' film and his statement in the letter to his parents in which he says that he stopped filming about 5 seconds before the first shot, IF he meant that he stopped filming the President's car 5 seconds before the first shot it would fit quite well with a first shot at z200. He stops filming the president's limo as it turns the corner. In this recreation by the Secret Service <![CDATA[As a guest, you are not allowed to view links.

(He then restarts it about a second later showing the press cars going up Houston. That portion ends at about z183). The car in the Secret Service film is in the position the president's limo was in at z200 at 10:32. You can also see from the Secret Service film that the tree did not really obscure the occupants of the car at all. It looked a lot different in May 1964 when the FBI did their re-enactment.
