intriguing indeed, very promising planet. However i am skeptical since this planet may not exist now, since it took 600 years for the reflection of Kepler 22 to get to earth, in fact we don't know how much conditions have changed.
plus it is 2.4 times larger than earth, makes it difficult for mammal life, because of the gravity. maybe water born lifeforms dominate since there is zero-g effects in ocean. Land based may be worm , snake like life forms. but very unlikely intelligent life.
the star is much smaller than the sun, not sure if there is enough energy to spark life.
