Tool Shed or Trailer ?  (Read 954 times)

is this part of the tool shed we see in the Murray photo or a vehicle/trailer parked in front of the shed ?

The shed appears to have a dark colored door, visible in the 1967 overhead photo.
The "trailer" in the b/w Murray photo does not.

Even with the figure in the foreground we still should be able to see part of that door imo.

I think this truck on the right has a similar looking cabin in the back.

Gerda, This is a photo from 11/24/63.  There only appears to be one shed.  I do not see a door  Wes

I don't see a door either, the other shed could be in the shadows.
The Cutler map from 63/64 shows 2 sheds. The object in the above Murray must be the truck parked next to the shed(s)

Gerda, I believe you are right.  The object does look like the trailer of a truck.  The trailer is much taller than the people standing next to it.  The sheds on the other hand apear to be only 4 feet tall or so.  This is potentially important.  I have never heard of a truck parked in this area before and I don't believe that DPD or the fire department had time to bring in equipment that quickly. If it is emergency equipment, why would they park so far away from the TSBD building?  Wes
