Maybe K.C. should read Itek's report or the Rockefellar Commission
Report to the President

Gerda, That is the station wagon I was thinking of.  If you examine the car in Croft, the grill on the car is very similar.  I am just not sure if it is a station wagon.  there are so many shadows anf reflections.  Wes

The cars parked along the Elm Extension were barely visible from street level as you move west. Wes

Here's what I could find for reference...

Looks like those cars are in the same spot within the TSBD fenced "enclosure"

This could be one of those - "Dont let anyone into the Parking lot" DPD finest...

Thanks for sharing the image Gerda and Jim for taking the image.

I believe it was a Allen photo showing DPD questioning two ladies
inside their car.  You can even see the numbers on the car plates

Thank you John  thumbs1xx
Could you post that image if possible ?

speaking of photographer William Allen, I noticed the Allen Contact Sheets in Robin's gallery, starting here:

Do you or anybody know if the negatives still exist, and/or if the photos from the contact sheets were developed and are available in bookform or even online  ?
Some of the images from these contact sheets I have never seen before anywhere as developed photos.
