Many interested parties on both sides of the debate often comment that "better" rifles were available ,But the main reason for settling on the Carcano was financially driven "Ossie was broke" .Not so according to C. A. Hamblen the night manager of the Western Union in Dallas according top Mr Hamblen
"Oswald" had recieved small cash amounts leading up to the assassination "10 maybe 20 dollars at a time .So there was really no need to economise
he could have shot the pres with a better class of rifle if he wanted.I can only assume he was "savin for Junes shoes".

Some things we know we know, the rest we have to find out for ourselves

One of the first things we found out was that the Warren Commission never pursued a conspiracy investigation.

Can you think of anybody in Dallas who might NOT want to be seen with Oswald but might send him 10 maybe 20 bucks to "Help him out" ??.

Just a thought but if Ossie has the Green why not walk into a gun shop and buy a $20 rifle ,Sorry my bad how could they then "trace " it to Oswald.
Its hard work thinking like an L/N you have to cut things out for it to work, is there a better manual than the Warren commission report?.Its written in English but its "All Greek" to many.

I apologise this should have gone into your manipulation of evidence thread but I could not resist the title.
I will put all the materials in your thread when finished which may be soon by the look of it.

Why would anyone think such a thing.

He bought what was needed to get the job done. He didn't buy what some marketing guy would have
liked to sell him. This way of life was a point of pride for Oz - is this really so hard to understand?

Was there a cheaper spy camera?

Are we sure the Minox was his?

Look at Oz's life. He took pride in living with modest thing and
thinking large thoughts.

He was receiving money ($200.00 or more a month) from the FBI, so the story of him being broke is not correct.

The smart thing to do would have been to use a weapon he was more familiar with, and way better overall, like the M-1.

He would have NO need to work a bolt then.

Can you please show me where he purchased the ammo and the clip for the rifle?  I have not seen any evidence for these vital things yet, but as you said he needed to "get the job done".

Thanks!

I have no idea where he got the ammo and clip. It's obvious that he got them somehow because
as you say, he needed them to get the job done.

Knowing where he bought them would be nice but not knowing
doesn't really mean anything. Surely this is obvious.
