Nothing Magic about C399  (Read 4473 times)

VB and Dale Myers has C399 doing a hard left into JC left leg. But why??  Could it have been even simpler than the Myers version?

John Connelly's attention was to the right of the limo and turned that way. There wasn't much room for his legs, even Nellie said that because of his large frame he didn't fit comfortably in the front jump seat. If his torso was turned to the right why not his legs also? To me, the straighter the bullet travels, especially since its tumbling, the less likely it loses its shape with the absence of a major deflection as it traveled through Connelly.

Iam confused. ......didn"t one of the autopsy docters state that they could feel where the back wound ended end when they examined it ????......or was that just added by Hollywood ?

Not Hollywood....  Hoover...

Boggs wanted to know the same thing AS WRITTEN IN THE AUTOPSY REPORT...   but since this didn't work...
a new autopsy protocol was created....   and then two men taking notes for the FBI are NOT called to testify...  in fact... take some time and see who from the FBI was called and what they said...  a BIG ZERO....

Mr. Rankin:
Then there‘s a great range of material in
regards to the wound and the autopsy and this point of exit
or entrance of the bullet in the front of the neck, and that all
has to be developed much more than we have at the present time.
We have an explanation there in the autopsy that probably
a fragment came out the front of the neck, but with the elevation
the shot must have come from, and the angle, it seems quite apparent,
since we have the picture of where the bullet entered in
the back, that the bullet entered below the shoulder blade to the
right of the backbone, which is below the place where the
picture shows the bullet came out in the neckband of the shirt
in front
, and the bullet, according to the autopsy didn't strike
any bone at all, that particular bullet, and go through.
So that how it could turn, and --

Rep. Boggs. I thought I read that bullet just went.in a
finger's length.

Mr. Rankin. That is what they first said

Originally, all three autopsy surgeons were of the opinion that the bullet/projectile which struck in the back, had penetrated to only a short depth.
In fact, when the autopsy concluded, this was the autopsy finding when JFK's body was turned over to the funeral home for funeral preparation.

However!

Dr. Perry (of Parkland Hospital) was contacted by Dr. Humes early in the morning of November 23, and Dr. Perry informed Dr. Humes of the small anterior throat wound.
This wound was completely missed at autopsy due to the tracheotomy incision which had obscured it.

Thereafter, Dr. Humes spoke with Dr. Boswell and Dr. Finck and discussed this entirely new revelation, and it was assumed that the bullet which had struck JFK in the upper back had in fact passed all of the way through the neck.

Humes destroyed the original autopsy notes (which would have had the shallow back wound entry written) and thereafter re-wrote his hand notes in which the anterior throat wound was stated as being "presumably" the exit wound.

All of which is entirely logical considering that a medium-to-high velocity bullet does not normally penetrate the human to a depth of less than two inches.

Anyone notice anything strange about Bugliosi's SBT diagram? Look at where it hits the wrist and where his hat is. Right underneath the wound.
The bullet went through Connally's wrist. So why isn't there a bullet hole in Connally's hat?
This is what happens when a book is written by a committee.
