Being dead certain and dead wrong  (Read 1649 times)

Every thoughtful person I know thinks OJ was guilty, myself included. The relevance of referring to the Simpson case in relation to JFK is clear: It stands in bold contrast to the other notorious murder investigation where, in this case, there can be no rational debate.  By consensus, we understand that OJ was guilty as hell and he got away with murder. The evidence is overwhelming. Only the very determined, uninformed or mentally impaired could possibly believe otherwise. As George Tenet might say, it's a slam-dunk.

If you are the kind of person who neither questions nor ever reevaluates why you believe what you believe, you might want to skip this.

If you are not, you may be comforted by the knowledge that you're not alone. I thought there was no substantive argument to be made. I was wrong.

Interesting feeling.

Hello Bill,

Based upon what I've read following my original post, you may be the only one who chose to comment after actually investing the time to watch. I'm not at all surprised that you were the one. Thanks for watching.

You're welcome.

Alan

Bill Dear makes a GREAT argument for OJ being not guilty of murder.  Alan, do you think Dear is correct?

Yes. I do.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I am capable of changing my mind in only an hour and twenty minutes.

I guess it has a lot to do with what happens during that hour and twenty minutes.

I appreciate your response. I hope others will follow your thoughtful example.

And, in the meantime, if you bump into Jason Simpson...

Be careful not to enrage him.
