My name is Alan Dale.

I am pleased to be among all who are interested in discussing, listening, teaching, learning and thinking about these matters of our mutual interest. I recognize many familiar names among this membership. I consider it an honor and privilege to be in your company.

My interest in the many related issues pertaining to President Kennedy's assassination is inspired by a lifetime of love, contemplation and grief. What limited knowledge I may possess, always mindful of Mark Twain and Will Rogers who advise us to be careful about investing too much in what we know that ain't so, comes as gifts from teachers, scholars, journalists: Peter Dale Scott, John Newman, Jefferson Morley, James W. Douglass, Anthony Summers, Gaeton Fonzi, David C. Martin -- contemporary investigators without whom I believe our History would be surrendered to the wrong authorities.

A student of History.

After several decades of awareness and consideration, my search for deeper understanding about President Kennedy's assassination has led me to an examination of James J. Angleton and William King Harvey. My opinion is that the extent to which their careers may be studied, and better understood, is worthy of our attention.

I believe the assassinations of the 60's were consequential, and that the men responsible were neither charged nor prosecuted.

Greetings to all. Please allow me to be not the last, but merely the most recent, to wish you...

Happy New Year!

Some things we know we know, the rest we have to find out for ourselves

One of the first things we found out was that the Warren Commission never pursued a conspiracy investigation.

Thanks to all. I appreciate the warm welcome.

I've spent several long days immersed in the many previous pages of interesting discussion and debate.

Now, if someone could just direct me to the Men's Room?

:-)
