Early work with Zapruder frames showing stockade fence and ???  (Read 23473 times)

Here is something I just finished working on for about an hour or so. This work and animation is in it's early stages. Using Zapruder frames 473-478, I first did a rough enhancement for gamma and some slight tweaks in contrast on a few of the 6 frames. Then...I painstakingly try to "cut" from precisely the same location in each of the 6 frames. Some of the frames are slightly blurred, which will make this animated gif seem a little choppy while playing. The cutout from frame 478 was reinserted four more times at the end of the animation to help show where the animation ends. I have also attached Zapruder frame 478 with two yellow boxes I added in. They are two areas of important interest, because they seem to show movement within this animation. The yellow box to the left... to my eyes at least... appears to be the head/face of a man from approx. the top of his shoulders up. He appears to first turn slightly towards his right beginning with frame 473, then back to the left ending with his head in profile facing towards Elm Street in frame 478.
The second yellow box to the right...to me at least...appears to possibly be a grayish colored hat (?) and seems to move in a northwest to southeast direction. If anyone is seeing what my eyes are seeing, please post your observations and comments. I intend to spend much more time on this in the coming days. I hope to add in more frames IF possible, and try to stabilize the choppiness as much as possible. Maybe even speed up the animation if I have luck in its appearance hat;; Again...comments are welcomed and appreciated.

Thank you Jim, Thierry, and Wes.

Wes, It's just so difficult to tell for certain. I enlarged the frames by a factor of two, and then cropped the area from them.
I then did a slight backlight enhancement trying to see if I could possibly bring out an further detail. A raincoat possibly. The
color in these cropped frames suggests a brown coat? I'm not really pleased with these results. I think it's time to work with
these frames once again. Right from the start...and see what results I can get. Here below are the 2X cropped enlargements,
trying to stabilize just on the movement only...not the surroundings.

I have been following this thread Rick, but i just don't appear to see what you see.

just waving tree branches in the wind, similar to what is seen in the bell gifs shot in front of the TSBD

Sorry Mate, just being honest

That's fine if you don't see what I do. I understand. Maybe in time that might change.
Do you find the eyewitness accounts of Lee Bowers, Ed Hoffman, Sam Holland, J.C. Price
and others credible? I am a firm believer in what they had seen. As far as I know, there
were no ordinary people standing behind the stockade fence just to watch the motorcade
as it passed by. Yet Bowers and Hoffman described otherwise. I believe at least one shot
originated from behind the fence. Finding the photographic proof people were behind there
is what I have been searching for for a long time now. This would only strengthen the
accounts described by Bowers, Holland, Hoffman and others. I believe in what they saw
and I will continue to keep at it. I'm not even close to giving up yet ;)

Keep up the great work...

From images you've offered I think I may have posted this earlier in the thread yet...

Looks very obvious to me... and more proof is always better... we're all right here with ya Rick...

Thank you David. You keep up the great work as well  thumbs1xx  gimme5xx

I do recall your posting the enhancement above. I believe that includes the original frame that I had posted early on.
Yes, that is the man I see as turning his head slightly towards the south...back towards Elm Street. I still think he's there
and he is not an illusion of swaying foliage on tree branches.

Out of curiousity...

Is there any reports if they held all the cars behind the picket fence and made them ALL open their trunks???

Because if not,

- why couldnt a guy have a trunk open.
- shoot jfk.
- then throw their rifle in the trunk.
- walk away and wait for the crowd and act like everyone else.

Is there any evidence of the police holding all the cars behind there so they could search them? Trunks, back seats, etc??

I know of no such search of vehicles in the parking lot area. Although I have NOT researched into this.
I do share your thoughts here though. A thorough inspection of all vehicles should have been performed
before allowing them to leave the area. Especially the search of all trunks. The thought of hiding a firearm
in one of the numerous vehicles in the parking lot that day is one which has certainly crossed my mind
before too.

This is for Robin AND everyone else following this topic.

I have taken Zapruder frames 476, 477, and 478 and enlarged them immensely.

I then cropped from the three frames the exact same area. Then stabilized them

into a slow running animation. Below is the crop from Zapruder frame 477. I have

circled and numbered three separate areas. These are the areas to watch closely

in the animation below. #1 is the partial head turn. Watch this head turning in a

counterclockwise manner. It's just as plain as can possibly be. #2 is the possible

top of a head (possibly topped with a hat) seen in a ducking or squatting manner

as it lowers itself during these frames. And #3 is a shadowy, ghostly glimpse at

someone even further back seen walking towards the right, or in a northerly direction.
