Gerry,

It certainly might be. He bears a remarkable resemblance, doesn't he?
Note the limp in his walk? He seems to be "favoring" his right leg....he's barely
bending his knee as he's walking forward.

good eye !

another thing i noticed besides his general resemblence to DCM is that he appears to have something in his right trousers pocket.
i will try to stabilize and enlarge the footage when i find the time.

Martin,

it is a sequence from the DVD "3 Shots that changed America". Don't know which chapter on the DVD but it's chronological so i think it must be quite at the beginning of the DVD.
Would be interesting to know who shot this footage.

Thanks a lot Gerry :)

I have this DVD but couldn't recall this sequence. /o\

Alyea might have be the one who filmed that sequence but that's just a guess.

Gary Mack, Richard B. Trask or Todd Vaughan are very good sources to answer that question.

best to you Gerda.

Martin

Very nice job Gerry!  clapxx  And yes, I agree. There does seem to be something in his rear right trouser pocket. This may very well be DCM  walkietalkie2

Gerry,

I saved your original 7 MB animated GIF and then used Irfanview to extract all the frames. Many of the frames
have some type of noise in them. I've posted a couple of examples below. But while viewing your GIF, these are
not seen. I wanted to extract all of the frames to attempt to stabilize this man who could be DCM. But with many of
the frames looking like they do below, I don't see how I can construct a presentable stabilized GIF.

Hello Rick,

don't know why that is, i used VirtualDub (Freeware) to convert the video to a GIF sequence. But i get the same artefacts when i open and extract it in Irfan.
I have extracted the original MPEG2 file to .BMP files and zipped them, you can download the zip file here:

it contains all 125 .bmp frames.

let me know if it doesn't work.

best, Gerry
