Oswald's travels after leaving the TSBD  (Read 4990 times)

Where did Oswald go after leaving the TSBD soon after 12.30 pm on 22 November 1963? How did he travel?
The Warren Commission said ---

Leaves TSBD:
Walk > Bus > Walk > Taxi > Walk - reaches 1026 North Beckley (boarding house where he lived).

Leaves boarding house:
Walk > - Tippitt encounter (murders police officer)
Run > Walk - enters Texas Theater.

Arrested and taken by squad car to Dallas Police Headquarters.

Seems straightforward. I'd be keen to hear of any alternate "diversions" from the known "paths".
Alternate modes of transport too.

Questions:

(1.) Where was Oswald intending to "travel" when he was stopped by Officer Tippit?

(2.) Where was Oswald intending to "travel" after the Texas Theater - had he not been arrested?

Please stay "on topic".

The only real evidence he was ever on that particular bus is Bledsoe, but even Bugliosi dismisses her as a petty, vindictive old woman who was observing things nobody else did. It's quite clear from her confused testimony she's describing Oswald's disheveled appearance from after he was arrested and was probably never on the same bus as him at all. The other 2 witnesses couldn't identity 'Oswald' and make no mention of Bledsoe been there at all.

As for Whaley, again, he describes someone who doesn't seem to be Oswald at all, so what evidence is there it was ever really him?

I'd like to hear, again, what happened to the jacket that Oswald was wearing both on the bus and in the cab.  Always good for a laugh.

LHO must have had jackets and wallets coming out of his ears that day.  I'm surprised he managed to get out of the TSBD in time to be honest with you, what with the all bags full of coats and wallets he had on him.

 rofl

Cecil McWatters thinking that he was identifying Roy Milton Jones at the line up is also out there for a Team NOBO explanation.

Everyone in the bus except Bledsoe said he had a jacket on. Didn't Whaley even have him wearing 2 jackets? He went home and put another jacket on, so now he's wearing at least 2 jackets, probably 3. Which makes his record breaking sprint to the Tippit crime scene even more miraculous as he must have looked like the Michelin man.

And we're still not done. Weeks after the assassination another one of his jackets was found at the TSBD!

It boggles the mind that there are people out there who believe Oswald was on the Marsalis bus.

The evidence is garbage and if you believe in it then you, by default, prove Oswald's innocence concerning the murder of JD Tippit.

But some of the clowns on this board don't mind that, they simply march forward oblivious to the obvious.

I think the evidence he was:

a) on the same bus as Markham
b) ever in Whaley's cab

is pretty thin to say the least.

Barry,

Thanks for stepping up to the plate.
A smart guy like you knew this was coming.
What is the "thin" evidence for (a.) and (b.)?

Ross

Let's change the question, Ross.  What evidence do you have that he was on the bus?  Lay it all out for us.  That's much easier to start with that outlining why the evidence is "thin."  Let's hear it from you?  What you got?

Of course, I am relying on information provided by the Warren Commission, and so are you - just from a different perspective.
If you doubt the travel sequence that Oswald was purported to have taken --
-- please provide an alternative.
Start at the TSBD and finish at the Texas Theater.
I'm not being funny or difficult, Lee - just realistic and logical.
Why don't you suggest better alternatives?

Maybe he got into the Nash Rambler as about 5 different witnesses independently testified?

What the hell do I have to provide "alternatives" for, Ross?  What's the point?  The permutations are infinite.  Hot air balloon, perhaps?

The only reason I come here is to show the likes of you what utter nonsense the evidence is that you base your invalid conclusions on.  Provide me with the "valid" evidence that supports the "official" story and I'll bat it out the park every time.  In fact, the Marsalis bus is a grand slam.

I don't know WHAT DID HAPPEN, I only know WHAT DIDN'T HAPPEN.

Prove he was on the bus, Ross.

Lee, why would Bledsoe (as well as Brewer and Postal) lie?

Who cares?  Who knows?  Why does anybody do anything?   Unlike you Bill, I'm not a mind-reader.

As far as I'm concerned they did.

Answer this question.  Did Oswald get the Marsalis bus?  Give us the evidence...

Any evidence at all, Bill?  Anything?

Or do you just want to discuss the unknowable as per usual?

I've always considered the ostrich to be one of the stupidest creatures on the face of the earth.  However, the part-bird part-human hybrid also known as the the Lone-Nut-Ostrich certainly takes the prize as stupidest.

How hard is it for one of them to show us their evidence, and their proof based on the evidence, that Oswald was on the Marsalis bus?  Instead we're asked for the motivations and reasons for witnesses telling lies.  Talk about desperation?

Right.

Who said that Fritz did not hear Ruby's gunshot detonation when Ruby killed Oswald?

And what was HIS motive for saying this?

Maybe Bledsoe, via a voice in his head, told him to say this?
