The full sequence.
This film, shot on November 23rd 1963, destroys Robert Harris's stupid theory of an asassassin breaking out a window, and then shooting from that location.

As i understand it, the windows had white venetian blinds.
Not curtains.

Yes, other photos do suggest some species of blinds or shades in the DalTex windows. Therein
may
lie the key to the strange appearance of the window in Altgens - and the strange appearance of the window to its right in other images.

There is a nice murray photo showing the venetian blinds on the first floor.

Yes there were alot of blinds, Dal-tex had offices and clothing makers like Zapruders Jennifer Juniors which had alot of women seamstress, they could make their own curtains, could be that they got tired of looking at the blinds day after day, It was not uncommon, for instance look at the windows directly above the TSBD doorway on the 2nd floor.
