Has anyone ever perused the November 1963 employee lists of Love Field and Trade Mart?  Bet ya there was a fellow named Hidell working at one of those places.  Had it continued raining in Dallas on 11/22/63, we'd have never heard of the TSBD.

I get the feeling it was part of a childhood thing - an anagram of his stepfather's name, Ekdahl and a few other things thrown in to form the "Hidell" part. By all accounts, he was quite fond of Ekdahl.

John Armstrong figured it out - "Harvey and Lee"

Harvey was Hidell, who worked for FBI and Naval Intelligence, passing himself of as Lee H. Oswald in USSR and in New Orleans/Dallas.  Harvey was trying to infiltrate group plotting the JFK hit.

Lee was CIA, impersonated Hidell, set him up as the patsy.

Ruby killed Harvey.  (Hidell)
