About a year ago this was discussed on Lancer Forum at great length, between myself and other members.

I still have not had satisfactory resolution to the question.

Clearer frames are needed   ahxx

Can any body else see what appears to me, to be a person standing behind lovelady just to the left of the frame, who may be  possibly holding a camera up to there eye  elbows sticking out as if they were ready to snap a photo.  ?    scratch

White spot seen in the middle of the black man and Lovelady.

The frame below shows what appears to me to be a camera person ( Man / Woman ) standing in the doorway, elbows out as ii they are preparing to take a photo.

The only other explanation i can think of, is that it was "lunch time", and someone was standing on the top step, holding a ( tea or coffee cup) in there hand while watching the motorcade.

Sounds reasonable. ?

It looks to me like it's a man, possibly holding a drinking mug.

Thanks Duncan.

I was editing as you posted your images.  rofl3

Seems we may agree that if it is not a camera it was most likely a lunchtime drink being enjoyed while watching the motorcade.

your probably right martin.

I think it is a fair question to ask though.

Many people in Dealey Plaza had camera's, and were happily snaping shots of the motorcade, i don't see anything sinister in that.

After all Elsie Dorman was doing her thing on the 4th floor as the motorcade past.

( As i said, nothing sinister about it at all )

Cheers.

Robin.

He is holding something, just don't know what it is.

His left hand is holding something (dark bird winged shape?) which is wider than the hand itself

Thank you Robin.
The last thing i will, is to come along as a know-it-all fellow.

BTW, thank you for uploading the new Muchmore Frames.

There is one frame who attracted my attention. This one here:
It shows a photographer:

To me it look like it's Phil Willis taken his 3rd photo.
Fits pretty good.

The man was quick on foot.

best to you

Martin

Thanks Martin.

Yes Chris also identified this man as Phil Willis.

I mentioned to him at the time that he must have made a mad dash to get from that position to in front of the limo as it hit elm st.

I tend to agree with both of you, that it probably is him.
