They did it! You know they did!

While I spend my middle years reading threads on here and reading stuff on other websites, I do find myself in need of a laugh and so I put it to you, CTs and LNs: What makes you laugh? I offer for your consideration, Morecambe and Wise, from the early 70s with Andrew Preview, erm, Andre Previn. Sense of humour doesn't always cross national boundaries but I feel sure you'll all enjoy this. Andre Previn (as we say in England, erm and Scotland) played a blinder! Brilliant. What's your cup of tea?

Duncan, thanks for reminding me about Dennis! Now what's his real name again? He was soooo embarrassing. Ian, good list, although I can't comment on Jaques Tati because I only ever saw one of his films and I was just a kid. They reckon he was good though. The Office was very overrated, mind Gervais is pretty good at "stand up". Phil from Harpenden is, clearly a genius! Gerry, just where are you from? You speak English and German but that was Dutch! (I did notice the subtitles mind you) Now if you are German, are you from close enough to the border with The Netherlands to understand, or are you just multilingual? Ik ben confused!

William, i was born and raised in Germany/Berlin (West), but the dutch language is very similar to german, i am living high up in North-Germany for quite some time now and besides High-German the people here also speak a local dialect (Plattdeutsch) which is very similar to dutch. best, Gerda
