That new eBay image would have been quite useful to the HSCA Trajectory Analysis back in 1978. That panel, allowing for the elevated perspective in the Croft photo, found that Kennedy was seated 8cm (about 3 1/8th inches) higher than Connally. Thomas Canning, who headed the study, then determined the angle between Connally's back wound and the JFK throat outshoot. He projected that angle back into space for the point when the limousine was at Z190. I used the same angle to project back at Z225, very close to the Z223/Z224 zone. The result is not as near to the Sniper's Nest window. The circle on the building climbs upwards and towards the west. Of course, any slight deviation in the angle would alter the result. The new image shows the two men in better profile, similar to the little insert drawing in the Canning exhibits, which is supposed to represent the two men if seen without any viewer elevation or street slope. The new image also represents the distance and elevation between the two men better than any other image I can think of. It is quite remarkable. Thank you, John. A real find for researchers! Jerry
