I have seen many posts here accusing Dept. sherrif Roger Craig of being a liar a nutcase or troubled individual including a post supposedly by his daughter. Why is he so untrusted?.

Very interesting article...took me a while to read as I had some errands to do in between. Craig is a good example of what happens to those who try to buck the wrong people.
Gary, Roger Craig has been shown to be both a liar and a nut. You know me, I don't say that of all CT witnesses just because they are CT witnesses but in Craig's case you really are backing a lost cause mate. Up until the assassination Roger Craig appears to be a hardworking, honest person. Military background, law enforcement with a record of awards and promotions. He certainly appeared to be what might be called a fine, upstanding individual. After the assassination, and his refusal to change his testimony, that suddenly changed. Now few have anything good to say about him. Now he's suddenly a liar and a nut. I wonder how someone could change that fast. One thing I admire about him is his refusal too knuckle under to the pressure that was put on him to change his recollections of what he saw that day. It may not have been in his best interest to stick to his story, but I admire him for doing so. Unfortunately it cost him everything, even his life.

So were Weitzman and Fritz also lying when they wrote the Mauser description of the rifle they found in a legal document? They could read, couldn't they? They could see "Made Italy" stamped on the rifle, couldn't they?

Denis can you say what piece of evidence or which particular thing, I am not looking for debate particularly .But more from the personal side it seems from the CT side its Wesley Frazier so you see both sides have particular witness's they do not trust . Its just with Craig it seems to go deep after all on the 22nd he was a cop that did his job .Frazier was pressured he has an excuse what is Craigs story ?

Bill do you think he was lying about the Oswald lookalike coming out of the back of the TSBD Ian, no - but Buell Frazier was lmao Let me guess - BOTH Deputy Sheriff Roger Craig and Buell Frazier were........ Bill - it is very likely that Craig became a "nut" after he was not believed by his very own Boss and fellow employees, fired from his employment, shot at, car exploded, run off the road and severely injured......you know just "trivial" things like that. What he reported on the 22/11/1963 was spot on and correct - he was a credit to his Department for being so vigilant and thorough - but we have gone over this many many times. Craig paid with his life. On reflection, he should have just have turned a blind eye sheeshxx cheers, Tony

Can you show me a photo of RC in the TSBD with a mauser "being found"?
