I HOPE THIS IS OK WITH EVERYBODY .

Do you think we could try a fresh new topic that may
give us a break from President Kennedys' murder
for a minute,
and focus on the 35th President and who he was ???

We are all into photos...so let's of course include photos....
but no assasination issues here..
Personal memories, policies, events, impressions, etc.
of President Kennedy.

I think it would be good to make this topic thread
our "Tribute" to the man who's murder we discuss
EVERYDAY on the JFK Assasination Forum.
It would also be for the new and younger people
who don't remember the President.
Please JOIN IN....................................................

THE FIRST THING THAT CAME TO MY MIND WAS PRESIDENT KENNEDY
COULD BE QUITE FUNNY AT SOME OF HIS PRESS CONFERENCES.
THE MAN HAD A NATURAL CHARM AND SEEMED SO YOUNG,YOUNG,YOUNG.
AND HIS WIFE WAS A BIG WOW WOW....IT WAS A COMPLETE AND
TOTAL CHANGE, THE AMERICAN PUBLIC WERE CURIOUS ABOUT
EVERYTHING THE KENNEDYS DID.

Great idea Martin 10fjyfjfyg

I think JFK loved children, not only his own. As this picture suggests below. Looks like maybe a campaign "motorcade" sudden stop? Everyone looks so happy....

And a very nice picture of JFK with his own children, Caroline & John Jr. in the White House.

The very big focus and commitment Kennedy had for space exploration.
We have gotten so much in return for our investment and his leadership.

President Kennedy was rather nervous of how Mrs. Kennedys' White House
restoration would go down politically with the American public.
However,
Mrs. Kennedy turned to private donations for much of the work and changed
the Executive Mansion into a style more resembeling the period from which it
was built.

It was quite improved from the previous Roosevelt,Truman, and Eisenhower times.
When she had completed the Green Room the first time..... she had actually
changed the wall color to another color. It wasn't green.

Showing it to the President the first time
he said........... " It's the Green Room.....it should be GREEN......change it. "
And then there was that televised tour.........Mrs. Kennedy was livid over
Norman Mailers' published comment that she moved like "a wooden horse".
