I'm not so sure, he looks like an older man to me, sort of hunched over and does he have a handkerchief sticking out of his jacket pocket, or is it his right hand where he has his arms folded?

Hi Ian

To me it looks as though he has his arms folded, but i can't be sure, the resolution just isnt there to tell.

This guy was debated about a year ago on Lancer.

Two things went against him being identified 100% as Truly, first as you mentioned what looks like a hankerchief in his pocket, and second where is "Ochus Campbell" who should be standing next to him.

QUOTE:

OCHUS V. CAMPBELL, 7120 Twin Lakes Lane, Dallas, Texas, furnished the following information:

He is the Vice President of the Texas School Book Depository Company, with offices located on the second floor of the Texas School Book Depository Building in Dallas.

On November 22, 1963, he was present at his office at the above named building and at about 12:30 PM on that day, he and several other associates were together stationed about 30 feet in front of this building facing away from the building observing the passing motorcade containing President Kennedy.

Truly puts himself on the concrete island, i don't see any other contenders for his position in the weigman frames.  ??

This is a Couch Frame i did for the Lancer forum about a year ago when we were dicussing the same topic.

The girl in the middle of the frame at the bottom, and the boy to the right bottom of the frame, can be seen standing near the TSBD doorway in the opening few frames of weigman.

I know what you mean Ian. He looks hunched over. But this frames is also fuzzy and can confuse a bit.
It is the only person in this area whom fits the clothes of Truly.

Where Ochus Campbell and Shelley is...i don't know.

Is the person on the left Bill Shelley?

Robin, is there any photo in you collection from Ochus Campbell?
The man who didn't testified before the WC...??!!!

Fisher and Edwards are hard to locate shock2
We don't know how they looking. And Dorman covered not entirely that area where Don placed them.

They can propably be in this one.

Don knows maybe something

In this window, according to Richard B. Trask's book must have been Jim Murray.

From the book:

At the time of november 22 Jim Murray had no official order to photograph.
He watched the motorcade through windows on the first floor of the CCB, first the window facing towards Main street, and then as the car turned
on to Houston Street, switching his view to the west face corner window.
As the Lincoln passed under Murrays window, he recalls observing Mrs. Kennedy leaning towards the president.

Hi Martin.

Yes i agree 100% that is Hugh Betzner seen in Dorman.

Also as the motorcade rounds the corner, Betzner then moves in behind the Towners and takes this shot of the Limo.

Martin.

I think it is generally accepted on the Forums that this man standing in the doorwayin "Altgens 6"  is Bill Shelley.

Sean Murphy was also the first one to spot what may be Shelley in the colored lovelady frame below. ?

Ok, Bill Shelley in the doorway. He said so in his testimony too.

Then Roy Truly was mistaken

But I cannot--I think Bill Shelley was standing over to my right as I faced the motorcade--somewheres in that area

He propably can't recall Ochus Campbell position too?

I agree on Hugh Betzner in your Dorman frame (with the Towner's in front of him).
The photograph sequence of Betzner is then:
1 shot- On Houston towards East
2 shot- Corner Houston-Elm towards North
3 shot- Elm street towards West

Robin, i know this photo.
Scan it please for the others.

Murray was pretty slender in posture if you ask me.

I would say it's him.

In the Bond photo above, it was poinfed out to me by Randy Owen that the back of the womans head in the forground of the image, may belong to Marie Muchmore  ?

You mean that is her?

The famous Mary Muchmore?

Ok, i will consider it.
I don't know if this Randy Owen is correct, but possible.

Mary turned later towards west to the colonnades.

It is pretty speculative if you ask me.

Martin
